A MESSAGE from JUDGE VICKI ARGENTO

Monroe County Court handles only the most serious and complex criminal cases in our community. As a sitting Judge I have presided over more than 7,000 felony, misdemeanor and penal law cases. It’s an honor and a privilege to talk with my fellow Monroe County residents about what it means to be a Judge and how important it is for us to have judges that reflects our values. Good judging is where experience, perspective and values meet. I’ve been a Judge for seven years, a practicing attorney for 21 years and have had a lifelong commitment to serving our community. These experiences have shaped my perspective and strengthened my values - values we all share like caring about kids and families. It’s what motivates me to do the right thing when I decide cases and gives me the strength to make difficult decisions.
